Scottie F. Williams (nee Collins), 80, passed away peacefully on the evening of Tuesday, August 16, 2016, while a resident of Embassy Oak Hills Nursing Center in Lorain. Born June 17, 1936, in Whitesburg, Kentucky, she had most recently been a resident of Lorain County. Scottie formerly lived in Columbus, but had spent the majority of her life as a resident of Florida. In her free time, she enjoyed fishing, cooking, and upholstering. Survivors include twin daughters, Vivian Ann Dowling and Virginia Faye Williams, both of Elyria and daughters, Janet Hvizd and Frances Carol Williams, also both residing in Elyria. In addition, she leaves her son, Robert L. Williams, Jr. of Flagstaff, Arizona, along with 15 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren and sister, Molly Lawson, residing in Tampa, Florida. She was preceded in death by her son, Benjamin Collins and several brothers and sisters. Graveside Services will be Saturday, August 20, at 12 Noon, in Ridge Hill Memorial Park, 44805 North Ridge Rd., Amherst Township. The Reverend Bob Eddy will officiate. Those attending are requested to assemble along the main entry boulevard at 11:45 A.M. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of the Gluvna-Shimo-Hromada Funeral Chapel. www.gluvna.net
