ELYRIA – One person is dead and a truck is on fire on Leo Bullocks Parkway in Elyria.
Elyria Police Capt. Chris Costantino said a person is dead from what appears to be a self-inflicted gunshot wound near the intersection of Bullocks Parkway and Murray Ridge Road, but the Lorain County Coroner’s Office is investigating, he said.
About a block away, at Bullocks and Brunswick Drive, is a truck fully engulfed in flames. The Elyria Fire Department is responding to the fire, and witnesses said it appeared that someone set it aflame. Nobody was in the truck, Costantino said.
